Four simple steps

Ridgeway College accepts applications for Grade RRR through to Grade 12 across its ECD Centre, Preparatory School and High School in Louis Trichardt, Limpopo. Applications are open for 2027 and are processed on a rolling basis. Spaces are limited.

Frequently asked questions

What grades do you offer, and what are the age requirements?
Ridgeway College offers a continuous education from Grade RRR through to Grade 12, across our ECD Centre (RRR–R), Preparatory School (Grades 1–7) and High School (Grades 8–12). Age cut-offs apply at each entry point. Contact us and we'll confirm your child's eligibility based on their date of birth.
What documents do I need to apply?

Please have the following ready when submitting your application:

  • Copy of the child's birth certificate
  • Copies of parents/guardians' ID documents
  • A copy of the last school report
  • Study permit for non-resident pupils
  • Vaccination card (ECD)
  • 2 recent passport photographs
  • Copy of the Medical Aid Card
  • Report from an optician

A non-refundable application fee of R150 is also required. Contact us if you have any questions about the process.

How long does the admissions process take?
From enquiry to offer typically takes two to three weeks, depending on availability and any assessments required. We recommend applying as early as possible, as spaces in popular grades fill up quickly.
Is there a waiting list?
Some grades do fill up during the year. If your preferred grade is at capacity, we'll add your child to our waiting list and be in touch as soon as a space opens up.
When are fees due?
School fees are payable by the 1st of each month over 12 months. The once-off entrance fee is due on registration, and the annual re-enrolment fee is payable by 1 September each year to secure your child's place for the following year.
Do you offer boarding?
Yes, on-campus boarding is available for learners from Grade 4. We offer both weekly and termly billing options. See the Fees section above for rates, or visit our Campus Life page to learn more about the boarding experience.
Are you accredited?
Yes. Ridgeway is IEB-registered and UMALUSI-accredited for Grades 8–12 (no. 24 SCH01 01147).
How do I arrange a visit?

Is there a school uniform?
Yes, all Ridgeway learners wear a school uniform. Contact our admissions team for the full uniform list and details on where items can be purchased.
What language are lessons taught in?
Lessons at Ridgeway are taught in English, which is the home language and primary medium of instruction across all phases. Afrikaans or Tshivenda is offered as a first additional language from Grade 1, with learners choosing one.
What is the re-enrolment deadline?
The annual re-enrolment fee is due by 1 September each year. Settling this fee confirms your child’s place for the following year. If you have any questions about re-enrolment, get in touch with our team.
