2. Information Officer

The Information Officer is responsible for handling PAIA requests and ensuring compliance with POPIA. Requests should be directed to the Information Officer at the contact details in section 1.

The following are available on our website without a formal PAIA request: school fees schedule, admissions information, this PAIA manual, and our Privacy Policy. Contact the school directly for other publicly available documents such as the school calendar or newsletter.

5. How to submit a PAIA request

Requests must be submitted using the prescribed Form C, available from the South African Human Rights Commission at sahrc.org.za. Submit the completed form to the Information Officer by email or post.

A request fee and access fee may be payable as prescribed by the PAIA regulations. We will acknowledge receipt within five business days and respond within 30 days, unless an extension is required.

6. Grounds for refusal

Access to certain records may be refused on grounds set out in PAIA, including where disclosure would unreasonably infringe the privacy of a third party, reveal confidential commercial information, or be contrary to another law.

7. Remedies available

If your request is refused or not responded to within the prescribed period, you may apply to court for appropriate relief or lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator of South Africa.
